Perfectionism rehab

High striving, hard working, highly functioning coper - does this sound like you? This is a psychology shape that is very resilient, adaptive and helpful; it supports you to achieve your ambitions and survive tricky situations. However, in the absence of flexibility and other strategies and the presence of perfectionism, it can be unsustainable, exhausting and come with high levels of self criticism. 


During this online workshop, we help you to understand how and why your perfectionism might have developed, how to manage it more flexibly and offer additional tools that might work for you in your striving. 

Bounce back from burnout

Managing the balance between work and building a life worth living can be a very tricky process to navigate. Many of us spend much of our time feeling stressed, stretched, overwhelmed and on the edge of coping. 

During this online workshop, we take a meaningful pause in order to understand what might be happening for each of us, consider the system factors which are influencing our decision-making, and plan for deliberate and focused action that can create change. We aim for a balance between striving and soothing, being and doing, and offer you a soft place to land in the pressure. 

Beyond the aisle

Getting married or taking steps towards intentional long-term partnerships can be one of the most exciting, joy-filled and fulfilling decisions of our lives. It is a decision that we need to continue to make day in and day out, in the face of ordinary human messiness, life stressors, change and the ways in which our lives move and grow over time. 


In our 'Beyond the aisle' workshop, we encourage you and your partner to get to know the shape of each other's minds and to explore and name relational patterns that show up between you, in service of supporting you to predict where things might be hard, know how to support each other best when stress comes, and find out the greatest ways to love and feel loved in your relationship.   

Thriving through transition

There are many moments in our lives where we are asked to shed an old identity and embrace the development of a new one, sometimes alongside who we are, and sometimes instead of. 

This journey can be found through parenthood, retirement, marriage, emi/immigration, divorce, profession change and many other moments of pathways diverging. While it can be exciting and bring new growth, it can also be scary, painful or just a challenge. Our set of workshops can help you to think about how to navigate this changing landscape, what you might need to survive well and how to manage emerging vulnerabilities.  

Oh sh*t, I'm having a baby

Preparing for birth feels like a usual priority for new parents, but preparation for parenthood can sometimes feel like something that we don’t consider. Parenting is a deeply joyful, meaningful, exciting, fulfilling experience for most people; it is also a deeply enraging, terrifying, boring, relentless, dysregulating experience for us! The tricky parts and the ways in which parenting can make us feel can sometimes come as a shock.

In this workshop, we will help you to feel more prepared by thinking through the ways in which parenting changes us physiologically and psychologically and how we might prepare ourselves for this shift.

Oh sh*t, I've got a baby

You've done the classes, baby is out, and now you have to keep them alive and stay sane yourself - welcome to the world, new parent! If you are finding it tricky, that's because it is. Come along and find a soft place to land. 


In this series of workshops, we support you to understand what might be going on in your body and mind now that you are a postnatal parent. We think about surviving the early weeks and months, what babies might need, and what you owe to yourselves. We consider the developing story around you as a parent, and how to use insight and tools to feel more of a sense of mastery in this time of constant change and new feelings and experiences. 

Un-break my heart

Ending a relationship, starting a new one, or the struggle of the in-between can be exhausting, painful, scary or disappointing. We often find ourselves repeating patterns again and again, or struggling to break out of old habits when we find ourselves in a new pattern. During this day retreat, we will support you to think about how your relationship patterns work; what shapes in others you might be seeking or creating unintentionally; and how to break free and make different choices.
